Sesame plants begin producing delicate white to pale pink bell-shaped flowers around 35–45 days after sowing. These flowers develop into pods containing the sesame seeds. During this stage, farmers closely monitor the crop, ensuring healthy growth under warm sunshine and well-drained soil until the pods mature naturally.

After harvest, the sesame plants are bundled and naturally sun-dried for several days. This traditional drying process allows the seed pods to mature completely and dry evenly, making seed separation easier while preserving the sesame's natural flavor and quality, without artificial drying or chemicals.

Once the plants have dried naturally, the seed capsules are opened through traditional hand threshing. The tiny sesame seeds are carefully separated from the dried stalks and pods, preserving their natural oils, delicate aroma, and exceptional quality before they move on to the cleaning stage.
